We had a nice, long weekend that was JAM-PACKED with fun! AKA the best kind of weekend. It started Thursday around noon when Rob was off work til Monday. Ooooh yeah. We spent the evening on the boat and taught Huston to say fish and bubbles. NBD.
Friday we celebrated the Fourth of July at my parents' with these hooligans.
Sunshine, grill, family, lawn games. A dandy celebration indeed!
A good time was had by all.
Saturday morning we headed north to Sheffield for my family's Wearda picnic. It's been years since we've all gotten together and it was awesome to see some old faces and meet the new ones! (My Grandma's family is in blue, her siblings' are the others.)
Oh, and Huston was a champ, all things considered. One nap Friday and one (very late) nap Saturday weren't too much of a problem for this trooper.
Sunday morning was his FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY!!! Instead of getting sentimental about how he's so grown up, how about I just overload you with pictures? Deal!
Once we finally got into the room, we got it all set up for the par-tay |
Someone snuck a peek at his presents before the party |
Ok, it was more than a peek. |
Thanks for coming, everyone! |
Practicing blowing out the candle |
Cousins are so helpful! |
Fave picture. Maybe ever? |
