- to be back into blogging! I was feeling guilty about my lack of documenting his first 6 months (video/blog/baby book/etc.) but realized it's because I've been in the moment with him. I quite frankly didn't have time for both, and I'm not sure if I will this semester, but I'm going to try harder!
- that Rob is in a bball men's league. He's in his element, folks!
- for some fresh changes at school. Altering the smallest thing can have a major impact and I'm optimistic about the rest of the school year.
- that Huston's crying gave Rob a technical the other night when he was playing Xbox. Is that a weird thing to be thankful for? Actually, I don't care- it's hilarious.
- for the way Huston smiles with his whole body! His laughs have been getting louder and his hugs tighter and I love every minute of it! Rob is thankful that he gets the best/easiest response of anyone. :) He's also super ticklish which makes me laugh!
- that Rob is a chiropractor. Can you imagine being comfortable sleeping like this? Huston loves being adjusted an even giggles and smiles each time!
- even when he pinches my neck and grabs a handful of my hair. Seriously, it hurts.
- for our very clearly defined roles of mother and father. Rob is the fun one and I'm the soothing, calming, snuggling one. Neither of us would have it any other way! Except when he was supposed to be putting Huston down and he gave him a toy in his crib instead which meant I had to be the mean one and take it away.
- for the way he wolfs down his food. I think he hasn't eaten the whole container only once or twice. I'm also glad we started with veggies. He loves carrots and sweet potatoes. Squash, you're next!
- Rob's enthusiasm, diligence, and desire to buy a house. Realistically it's not gonna happen for at least a year but he's so ready to move on (see what I did there?) that he has done and redone our budget at least 1634427993 times.
- SLEEP! I saved the best for last. Overnight Huston went 9hr15min between feedings!!! What?!!?! I can't even begin to tell you how pleased I was. Here's to hoping it continues!
