Work Shower

After school today I was treated to a fantastic shower thrown by my coworkers! I have been so fortunate to have an amazing group to work with and I'm so very sad to be leaving them. They've really taken me under their wing while also making me feel like I'm not a rookie teacher.

We met at Mi Ranchito at 3:30 and watched the weather change from rain to sleet to hail to great, big, heavy snowflakes. By the time I got home the ground was completely covered! Anyway, we had a great time just chatting and enjoying each other's company outside of school which is a rare opportunity. I opened my gifts which included a Target giftcard, the clothes from the pictures below, and handmade soaps/lotions/etc. that Jennifer Elliott makes. I told you they're great!

Well, I'm off to make a couple of tortilla espanolas for my Cinco de Mayo parties tomorrow. Then, it's time to pack, shower, and hit the sack!
