I love Kansas City ...

Rob and I have fallen madly in love with Kansas City. If we would move there are so many things I would miss like crazy! Honestly, it makes me so sad to even think about leaving. Here are some of our favorite things:

- Amazing weather. It's not much farther south of Glenwood or Ankeny yet our weather is always considerably nicer. Less snow, more sunshine, period. Rob loves to shoops (shoot hoops) outside and he often gets the chance.

- Sports. Sporting KC is our absolute favorite to follow and Rob is desperately trying to convince me to let him buy season tickets. Even though that's not gonna happen, we still love watching them at what used to be Livestrong Sporting Park. We've also been to see the Home Run Derby, the Royals, US Men's National Team (soccer), the Chiefs, KU basketball at Allen Fieldhouse, etc. It's so fun to have hometown teams to follow, even if a couple of them are pretty terrible.

- Food. Clearly this is an important one for us - especially pizza. Some of our favorite local joints are Papa Keno's, D'Bronx, and Johnny Brusco's but any chain restaurant imaginable is also within 15 minutes. Speaking of, so are 3 Target stores, 2 Walmarts, 10 grocery stores, ...

- Shopping. It's no secret that Rob is the shopaholic between the two of us but the shopping centers in KC make it so much more bearable for me. :) Legends, Crown Center Plaza, Zona Rosa, Oak Park Mall, and Town Center Plaza are our faves. Especially when they're decorated for the holidays!

- Being a vacation "destination". We absolutely love when people come visit us and we're lucky there are so many fun attractions to lure them to KC. If we move, Rob and I will absolutely come back for an occasional mini-vacay to hang in our old stomping grounds.
